Florida Aid to Animals
About
Florida Aid to Animals is an affordable, minor medical veterinary clinic that has specialized in low-cost spay/ neuter of cats and dogs for over 30 years. They keep the basics – such as preventative medications like flea and heartworm products and routine vaccines, affordable for all pet parents. Their mission is to educate the public about the importance of preventative pet health care and together with the community, they have helped countless cats and dogs live healthier, longer lives.
The clinic was founded by Isabelle Dorsey in 1989. After helping to run the South Brevard shelter for over 10 years, Ms. Dorsey was tired of watching animals be euthanized due to overpopulation and instead wanted to help pets live longer, healthier lives. Isabelle wanted to ensure that all pet owners could afford the basic care their animals need. Today, they still strive to keep basic pet health care affordable while educating the public about the importance of preventative care.
FATA is a non-profit organization and receives no funding from local, state, or federal grants. Florida Aid to Animals strives to keep prices as low as possible, in alignment with their mission to make pet healthcare affordable to all cat and dog owners in the community.
