His Place Ministries has been a church and local community outreach ministry since 1994. In 2000, His Place purchased the historic United Church of Christ building in downtown Melbourne on the corner of US 1 and Strawbridge. We are grateful for the many years and opportunities we've had to serve the community, in a variety of ways. During the season of Covid, much changed, including our outreach efforts. Along with this, the complexion of our downtown had been emerging into a vibrant area, even becoming a destination spot for many. We knew it was time to revitalize the building and meet the needs of our local community in a new and fresh way. We are excited to say, the idea of the building being offered as an event space is now a reality! Please join us as we celebrate with the official Grand Opening of Venue 1824!
