CareerSource Brevard, the area authority on workforce development, is hosting a no-cost Business Learning Event for employers. Addressing Barriers to Employment is designed to help employers explore new hiring opportunities in untapped segments of the workforce. With the help of CareerSource Brevard’s information and resources, employers can find new prospects to fill key positions.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
Whether its young adults, older workers, veterans and military families, the underemployed or individuals with disabilities, attendees will learn how to hire and retain employees that have barriers to employment. This includes such challenges as transportation, childcare, disabilities, or legal responsibilities – barriers that often keep worthy candidates from being considered for employment. Learn the facts, stats, and myths surrounding employees with justice involvement, and hear from experts about the best practices and resources available for both employers and employees.
