The Melbourne Regional Chamber is excited to welcome Monica Anderson to the team as Director of Business Development.
In her new role, Monica will work to strengthen our partnership strategy, retention efforts, communications and relationships with our partners and Space Coast community. “I am excited about being a part of the vibrant business community in Melbourne while lending my skills and expertise to the team of professionals at the Melbourne Regional Chamber,” said Anderson.

Meet Becky Ratchford, 2023 Chair of our Space Coast Young Professionals Council. Ratchford is the Supply Chain Strategy Manager at Collins Aerospace and brings many years of leadership experience to her role.
When taking upon the new position, Ratchford stated, "I am so grateful to be a part of such an impactful organization. It is such an honor to hold the position as Chair. While there are a lot of exciting things in store, I am most excited for a great year of working with the MRC team and our incredible SCYP steering committee to plan and hold events that promote networking, teamwork and community outreach."

The Melbourne Regional Chamber is entering 2023 with new leadership for the Nonprofit Council! Meet Co-Chairs, Emma Reynolds, Director of Resource Development at United Way of Brevard, and Akili Phillips, Development Coordinator at Family Promise of Brevard.
These two nonprofit powerhouses are excited to meet all of our amazing nonprofit members and have some great things in store for the year, including quarterly meetings with themes, break-out groups, and expert panels.

New to the Small Business Council, we are thrilled to announce Alexis McGuire as the 2023 Small Business Council Vice-Chair to Caitlin Rice. McGuire is the Chief Executive Officer of Nationwide Medical Licensing and believes, "owning a small business is not an easy task and being able to provide resources to other small business owners to help them succeed is a passion of mine." In her new role, McGuire stated, "I look forward to continuing on this wonderful Council and continuing to make the lives of fellow small business owners better, one month at a time.”
